First Friday & First Saturday Devotions November 6 & 7
First Friday - Nov. 6 | 12:15pm
Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
The First Friday devotion is rooted in the revelations of Jesus to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque. It calls us to reflect on Christ's great love for humanity, especially as expressed through His Sacred Heart. Through prayer, the reception of Holy Communion, and reparation for sin, we are invited to grow in our love for Jesus and respond to His mercy.
First Saturday TLM - Nov. 7 | 9:00am
Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
The First Saturday devotion is associated with the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima. Our Lady asked the faithful to offer prayer, receive Holy Communion, go to Confession, and meditate on the mysteries of the Rosary in reparation for sins committed against her Immaculate Heart. This devotion encourages us to grow closer to Christ through Mary's example of faith, humility, and obedience.
