First Saturday Traditional Latin Mass

Saturday, July 5 at 9am

Our parish celebrates Mass at 9am every first Saturday of the month. This is known as The First Saturdays Devotion, also known as the "Five First Saturdays", and it involves five consecutive Saturdays of specific practices. The requirements are:

Confession: Go to confession on or near the First Saturday. (within 20 days)
Holy Communion: Receive Holy Communion on the First Saturday.
Rosary: Pray five decades of the Rosary.
Meditation: Meditate for 15 minutes on the mysteries of the Rosary.

In order to help parishioners fulfill these requirements, some schedule changes have been made. Starting this Saturday, Fr. Mark will be hearing confessions from 8-8:30am. Shortly after at 8:15am, we will start with Rosary followed by the Mass. Right after Mass is over there will be 15 minutes of meditation on the mysteries.

Father Mark and his staff will be at an in-service next week. This will not affect daily Mass; however, there will be no confessions during the week and the office will be closed except for emergencies.

Millions of Monicas

Monday, July 7 at 7pm

The Millions of Monicas prayer ministry supports mothers, aunts, grandmothers, and godmothers who are concerned over their beloved children in following the example of St. Monica. Mothers are invited to come together at St. Alice to persevere in prayer for their children’s joyful return, initial entering, and/or faithful continuing within the Catholic Church, in what is often a troubled and confusing world. Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month from 7pm-8pm in the church.

Knights of Columbus Monthly Meeting

Monday, July 7 at 7pm

Knights of Columbus are Catholic men, who live by principles informed by faith. Men are of all ages are welcome to join St. Alice's Council 4087 If you are interested becoming a Knight of Columbus, please attend the monthly meeting on July 7 at 7pm in Room 5 of the Education Center.

St. Alice High School Youth Group

Wednesday, July 8 at 6pm

The St. Alice Youth Ministry will begin meeting weekly starting July 9 from 6pm to 8pm in the large parish center. All high school students, including incoming Freshmen, are invited for a time of fellowship, praise & worship, scripture and prayer led by Lukian Efseaff. Bring a bible and bring a friend.

Night of Hope & Healing

Thursday, July 10 at 6:30pm

Bilingual Rosary: 6:00pm

Praise, Teaching, and Prayers for Healing: 6:30pm - 8:00pm

Come and encounter the Lord at a Night of Hope and Healing.

Spanish Funeral Mass for Francisco Lopez

Friday, July 11 at 12:15pm

Please pray for the soul of our dearly departed, Francisco Lopez. All are invited to the Spanish Funeral Mass for Francisco on Friday, July 11 at 12:15pm. A reception will follow.
