Pentecost All-Community Vigil Mass

Saturday, June 7, 5pm

The Church entered the Easter season with her great Easter Vigil Mass and closes the Easter season with her extended form of the Pentecost Vigil. This extended form mirrors the Easter Vigil with five readings in English and Spanish, their sung responses, and then the proclamation of the gospel. Music for the Pentecost Vigil will feature the same professional quartet that sang Easter Vigil. They will sing a polyphonic Mass setting, Gregorian chant, and choral motets.

Graduation Blessing

Saturday, June 7 & Sunday, June 8

Graduates will receive a special blessing at all weekend Masses. Feel free to get more mileage out of your cap and gown and wear them to Mass if you wish!

Pentecost Vigil led by Misioneros Maria Inmaculada

Everyone is invited for a night of adoration, praise, and prayer for more of the Holy Spirit. The event is bi-lingual. Child care will be provided.

HAPPY 12TH ORDINATION DAY, FATHER MARK!

Join us for the Jubilee Corpus Christi Procession from St. Mary to St. Alice on June 22. The 6.8-mile procession will depart from St. Mary at 2pm and will process through downtown Eugene, Alton Baker Park via the North Bank Trail, and downtown Springfield to St. Alice where it will conclude with Exposition.

FAST FACTS:

Parish groups are welcome to carry religious art or banners during the procession promoting their group.
It's not necessary to commit to the entire route. Everyone is invited to walk a section as he/she is able!

SIGNUP TO CARRY LITTER IN PROCESSION

St. Alice is currently recruiting strong men to carry the monstrance on the litter during the procession. The combined weight of the litter and monstrance is about 100 pounds. St. Alice will create teams of 8 men based on the section of the procession and the height of the men. Please note that the monstrance will be carried on the shoulders, making the load more manageable.
