St. Alice's east end parking lot is closed every Wednesday from 9 am - 2 pm for
St. Alice's Homeschool Support Program.
*All other parking lots are open for program volunteers, parishioners, and anyone else needing to visit St. Alice Church, chapel, or business office.
Reconciliation and Holy Communion
St. Alice offers a one-year program for the sacraments of reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
Sacrament of Reconciliation
- 6-week program to start on Sept. 28, 2021.
- Tuesday 6pm – 7pm.
- At the conclusion of the program, each child will have confession with Father Mark and will enter the Advent Season with the blessing of the sacrament.
Sacrament of Holy Communion
- 6-week program to start in April 2022 (Date to be announced).
- Tuesday 6pm – 7pm.
- First Communion Mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi.

Adult Sacraments
If you or someone you know is being drawn by Jesus to love and follow him as a member of the Catholic Church, then come join the St. Alice Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) where you can learn more about the Catholic faith, deepen your spiritual life, and find support as you grow in God’s love.
RCIA prepares adults to receive baptism, First Eucharist, and/or confirmation.
Classes begin September 30

First Place Food Donation September 22, 2021
The St. Alice Conference of St. Vincent de Paul will be making meal and wish list donations to First Place Family Center on September 22nd. FPFC is an overnight respite for families in need. Sign up to make a donation. Drop off your items at 1228 S 40th Place, Springfield on Monday, September 20, Tuesday, September 21, or Wednesday, September 22 prior to 11:00 AM. Call ahead to set a specific drop-off time. Contact Diane Soik at 541-731-7860. COVID restrictions do not allow for serving meals at the shelter at this time. The Parish Office is not available to assist with receiving donations. All food items should be in disposable pans or containers.

SIGN UP FOR FALL FAITH-SHARING GROUPS
Deepen your spiritual journey and strengthen church relationships through small faith-sharing groups at St. Alice Catholic Church. Small groups, no more than 12 people, meet weekly to read a short chapter, review a video, and discuss the content.

Bible Basics: Old Testament
This series provides a “tour” through the Old Testament and Salvation History. Dr. Bergsma gives an overview of how God has worked in human history to save us through a series of covenants. Learn the story of God’s plan of bringing humanity into His divine life.
